Spring is the season for the Evaluation contest. That contest requires evaluators to evaluate the speech of a Model Speaker who should be someone that the evaluators have not heard speak before. Finding a person from outside of the club, or the Area if it is an Area contest or Division if it is a Division contest is sometimes difficult.
We have a solution that you might wish to consider. District 29 has formed a Guest Speakers Bureau that offers you are range of speakers to choose from at www.district29tm.org Guest Speakers Bureau.

This is also an opportunity for you to sign up to be on the Speaker Listing and be invited as a Model Speaker to another club!
The process is simple for you to join as a speaker. Just sign up at www.district29tm.org Guest Speakers Bureau. At the same time, please email your bio to PRO.Hobbs@d29tm.org. We ask that you follow the format of bios already published @ http://d29speakersbureau.weebly.com/speakers.html for consistency and convenience.
When requesting a speaker for your program, it would be preferred if you gave at least three options and the turnaround time would be between 3 days to 15 days depending on the event. You will first receive an immediate acknowledgement of your application along with a request for information should we need it. However, there may be a wait time due to that particular speaker availability. We also cannot guarantee that you will be invited to speak. This may require some self-marketing. Keeping us informed of your speaking events will help build up your marketability via District 29.
