Club Proxy for Annual Business Meeting in Cincinnati, OH

Dear Club President and Club Secretary,

The Annual Business Meeting, where votes will be cast to elect the international officers and directors to the 2013-2014 Board of Directors, will be held on Saturday, August 24, 2013 at 12:00 p.m. at the Duke Energy Center, Cincinnati, Ohio, United States. One proposal will be voted on this year. Information on the proposal can be found at www.toastmasters.org/ProposalA.

Toastmasters clubs hold the most important voting power in the organization so it's important that you, as president or secretary, process your club's proxy. You can ensure this in one of three ways:

  1. If a member of your club attends the Annual Business Meeting, he or she may carry your club vote as a delegate.
  2. If no one from your club attends the Annual Business Meeting, your club may designate the 2013-2014 district governor, or if (and only if) the district governor is not in attendance, the next senior district officer attending the Annual Business Meeting will act as your club's proxy.
  3. If no one from your club plans to attend the Annual Business Meeting, your club may choose as your proxy holder an active Toastmaster from another club who plans to attend.

Please Delegate your Proxies to our Incoming District Governor Juliette Brown, ATMS.  Along with her team, they will interview ALL Candidates who are running for International Office.  Please, if you do not have a Club Member attending the International Convention and the Business Meeting, please delegate your Proxy to the District Governor.
