Hello Everyone, If I may add, "outstanding" is in order for addressing such a challenging task in such an effective manner (i.e., the groups form on a last minute basis so there's no prior relationship developed or shared/collective knowledge between the group members). Great job Ms. Stephanie and Toastmasters! Best wishes, Dr. Keisha M. HawkinsAdjunct ProfessorStrayer University2121 15th Street, NorthSuite 200Arlington, VA 22201

Subject: S. Finney - Brief Presentation at School - Toastmasters "Constructive" Feedback from My Professor
Good Morning Fellow Toastmasters. I wanted to share some good news that I received from my Business & Society Professor, Dr. Hawkins. We present our discussion questions each week in class, as a group or individually. I presented with my team last evening, with the role of Project Manager. This involved getting the group together, reviewing the questions and having everyone participate or provide input. Once we gathered our findings, we selected team members to present. I was considered a “narrator”, as I set the stage for what the team was going to present. Some feedback received from my Professor was: - Confident - Well narrated - Voice projection was good - Concerned about presence on stage (as I kept guiding one of my teammates to stand away from the white board and not lean on it (also did not want him to get the ‘green’ marker on his sweater))- Overall leadership I also did not say any “ums/ahs”. J I gave the credit to Toastmasters. Although I have not given many speeches, I have learned certain techniques when speaking to an audience. Just wanted to share the good news. Thank you and have a good day.
